Being far home is very difficult, but thanks to Dr. Voldman I was able to feel the comfort and family warmth I was lacking. I have been playing violin since I was 5 years old, but Dr. Voldman opened my eyes to a new perspective towards handling this wonderful instrument. He has taught me the easiness and the playfulness of the violin. Not only was he my mentor, he also accepted me as a part of the Southeastern family and helped me get familiar with the American culture. The teaching approach Dr. Voldman has taught me is a method that came very natural to me, and I must say it is a secret that not everyone would share. I was always wondering how he knows exactly the way I practice, and for how long.
